The Mindfulness Revolution was founded by Dr Astrid Bernkopf as space to offer somatic movement, yoga and meditation in accessible ways. Astrid’s aim is to reach those afraid of yoga studios and support them in connecting with their bodies.

Deep Relaxation Yoga Nidra - 30 mins online
STARTING 1 OCTOBER
Deeply relax in the comfort of your home with this weekly 30 mins Yoga Nidra practice. Sessions held via Zoom include approx. 5 mins check in and settling and a 25 mins Yoga Nidra meditation. For more information, click on your preferred plan below.

Who is it for?
- Anyone stressed and wishing to take a break
- anyone wishing to meditate in a gentle way
- anyone wishing to get 30 minutes conscious rest
- people with ME/Chronic fatigue, long covid or other energy limiting conditions
- people recovering from physical illness or surgery
- migraine friendly practice
It is NOT a from of therapy or suitable for anyone in current mental distress or with a flare up of mental health problems. Please exercise your own judgement before attending.
Available Plans:
Pay as you go – £15 per session to give flexibility without commitment. You will receive 7 days of access to the replay. No refunds possible.
Monthly Subscription – £60 per month to secure your spot in the class and receive continuous access to replays of weekly meditations to either catch up or add another meditation into your week. Unsubscribe at the end of the month. You will be added to ThriveCart where recordings are stored. Please watch out for separate emails with log in etc.
All classes will be recorded.

Yoga for Functional Movement
Joint Chair and Mat Yoga class
1 hour Yoga for Functional Movement works to improve core stability and strength. Classes aim to train everyday movements by gently supporting participants in strengthening their muscles and training body awareness and balance. These classes can be done seated in a chair or on a yoga mat depending on the individual.

When shall I practise in a chair?
If you cannot get up and down to the floor easily by yourself. The chair exercises will target the same or very similar muscle groups as mat exercises.
Is this therapy / physiotherapy?
No, this is a chair / mat yoga class that aims to strengthen and work on improving everyday movement patterns. If you have a recent complaint or injury, please seek support through medical channels.
What do I need:
- Nonslip yoga mat if practising on a mat
- Comfortable clothing in which you can move
- be bare foot or with non-slip socks
- Bottle of water
- Layer of warm clothing or blanket for final relaxation
All classes will be recorded and recordings made available on ThriveCart for subscribed participants.

Yoga for Carers
Mat Yoga Class
Yoga for carers offer 1 hour of nervous system reset through yoga movements, fascia release and deep relaxation / guided visualisation. The sessions will be mat-based for those who wish to reduce stress, take a break from intense jobs and sensory overstimulation.

Astrid has completed the 40hrs Accessible Yoga Teacher Training with Jivana Heyman and Accessible Yoga School.
